Good turn out for training on Saturday. It was a hard session with everyone putting in a lot effort.

It was Kenco who decide to put his whole body into it, fluids and everything coming out from every orifice.

When it was mentioned that there would be plenty of ball work, nobody realised how hard it was going to be. Possibly a few should have stayed out of the pub on a Friday night and would have found it easier and less messy.

The Cellar Bar are hosting the 1st fund raising event of the season. This will be a Red Box night. It's a fun and games night with plenty of enjoyment for everyone. This isn't just for the boys, the girls certainly enjoy the night (from all accounts of the past few events).

Plans are now in place for the next night out on the 29/09. With the league now having confirmed that the 1st round of the Scottish Cup will be on the 29/09. It's off to Denny for the game and then back to the Cellar for beers and for those younger guys it'll continue on into the late night at Viennas.

The pool competition ended up with a closely fought final between Cal and MO. It was Cal who won the competition and took the 1st prize winnings. It was a bit of a shock to all of those who attended with the odds on favourite Mo (he plays for a pool team) only managing to take 2nd place.
